My 4th of July day

I spent half of my 4th of July day at the temple with my mother. It wasn't a year that we usually had the grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and BBQ. And most of all the big family gathering. My family member were all out of town besides my mother, 8 yr old brother, and me. On top of everything i had to work night shift until midnight. And boy oh boy tell you the truth customer really drives you nuts! Although I have to accept customers satisfaction. Otherwise, I won't be. Now it's 2 am in the morning i just finished up my dinner my mom made for me. Curry clam soup which I love anything much with curry. I have finally a full stomach thanks to my mom she release my stress sometimes. She told me that if i have anything to complain about work complain to her and she will listen. One say I remember crying after work one of the stressful days of my life and I cried on my way home after I got off. So while eating dinner we just talk about our days about the temple, my workplace, and me missing out on lighting fire works with my brother.

"Money Tree"
Above this picture is about the lost ones. Every time someone past away. relatives or family members make these money tree out of real tree branch and decorate it with flowers and attached dollar bills worth of 50 to 100 dollar bills. basically it's like a celebration.

"The Bed"
Above is a bed perimeter decorated as well. It's the same as the "money tree" method for those who past away. The bunk holds the person's favorite outfit, food, picture or any of their belonging. also with the money tree by the bed. Supposedly the family members want the lost ones to receive a better passover spiritually.

"Fruit Basket Decor"
I came across these women decorating the fruit basket arguing about the coordination to decorating the fruit basket. I find it hilarious and hard to understand at the moment. Overall they do agree at the very end of each decor.

"Man Walking on Cane"
I was outside with my mother and I came across this Buddhist man walking and thought that he has a unusual walk. "It seems like he walks on his third hind leg then his two feet,"
I told my mom and my mom said something that was a metaphor to an elephant phase that I meant.

"Tall Tale of Bamboo Tree"

I'll tell you this was the tallest bundle of bamboo tree my mom was watering. She told me that this was our big bundle of bamboo tree we had donated to the temple. And i have to say i missed it very much.

"Shirts, Shirts"
"this is my mom just looking at the shirts that one of the tents were selling.
